Unimog Costa Rica

Adventure Motors was created to supply vehicles that are an ideal match for the driving conditions of Costa Rica. Our commitment is to provide our customers with anywhere, anytime fun and adventure - and we mean it!

The Unimog is a unique vehicle that is difficult to categorize. It is a truck, a tractor, a fun vehicle, a work horse, and much more. It is impossible to say exactly what the truck is. We think the buyer has to look at the vehicle and choose for him or herself. However you decide to utilize the Unimog, you will undoubtedly notice that the engineering, construction and durability of this Mercedes Benz vehicle are first rate.

The Unimog has earned the respect of people world-wide for its thoughtful design, such as the overall layout and gearing. The Unimog works superbly off-road. But the capability of the truck goes way beyond off-road. Mercedes Benz has created a truck that drives the paved and unpaved roads with great visibility, comfort and ease. The truck is perfectly suited to the road speeds and conditions here in Costa Rica. The Unimog is truly a go anywhere, anytime vehicle!

Look at the side view of our Unimogs. Notice how the cab is way forward, over the front wheels. That design allows for a full size carrying capacity while maintaining a short wheel base. This short wheel base allows for a very tight turning radius. You can get your loaded Unimog out of the store parking lot with grace and safety!

Looking at the truck from any side, you can see the generous clearance that allows the Unimog to slog through deep mud and cross streams or rivers, which would leave most other vehicles stuck. The Unimog's drive train is perfect for finding traction in the most difficult off-road conditions; yet, it is docile and comfortable enough to drive cross country on paved roads.

Developers and contractors use our vehicles to get materials to their crews when other delivery trucks can't reach the jobsite. Tow companies use the Unimog for difficult vehicle recoveries. Farmers love Unimogs! They use the truck as a tractor on the farm, and then haul a huge load of melons to market at legal road speeds. Tour companies carry surfers and their gear to the beach, or sightseers through the jungle. Last, but not least, families take their kids and dog around town and on errands. The Unimog is truly an extraordinary and versatile vehicle!

Did you know? The first Unimog was produced in 1946. The name is an abbreviation for "Universal Agricultural Motor Vehicle." Please utilize the following links to learn more detailed and technical information about Unimogs.
